Celebes Kalossi (modern day Sulawesi) is grown at very high altitudes in the Toraja region. A 300 year history of coffee cultivation and production produce an intensely rich coffee with low acidity and a deep complex aroma.

Celebes(aka Sulawesi)coffee is some of the richest coffee in the world, equalled maybe by the coffees from Yemen, Ethiopia, and Kenya. If you like those coffees, you'll love this.
Ever since Starbucks stopped stocking it's Sulawesi coffee, I've been looking for another supplier. Joe's roast is lighter than Starbucks, and also a bit more acidic.I like a roast where the oils just start to show on the surface of the bean.
Celebes Kalossi Coffee is one of the best coffees that I have found. It is mild yet very flavorful with low acidity so its not as hard on the stomach as some coffees. Definately worth a try (and another, and another).
